This wouldn't do! Because my family loves to eat, I wanted to learn how to make family favourites with fresh and healthy ingredients.
I thought that this blog would be a great way to share my "tried and true" favourite recipes with friends and catalogue them for my children when they are old enough to cook.
I recently discovered that I have a sensitivity to gluten, eggs, dairy, chocolate and red meat. When I avoided these food triggers, my life changed! My digestive issues improved, my skin cleared up and I lost almost 30lbs!
This blog has a wide range of recipes as I am constantly trying different things. I still bake with gluten, eggs and dairy for friends and family. Right now, I am discovering the world of gluten-free and vegan baking so I can have treats too. There is so much to learn! One day, I hope that I can tolerate small amounts of everything again!
